Gretchen and Gentrey and their daddy

Gretchen is getting to be such a big girl. She says such adult things! It is too funny! Last night she could see my dad and little sister walking outside but of course they looked like black shadows because it was dark. She said "Look Mom, people." I told her it was just grandpa and Megan. She told me, "Yeah they're freaking me out.They're dark."

Gentrey is sooo big. My baby is growing up. She also says some of the cutest things and imitates all of her siblings. She is so smart and so well behaved.

Brigham is just working away at his job. He really doesn't enjoy it but what can ya do. Hopefully he will find something better. But that's hard to do when there is not much job opportunity in the area.

He and I shared our fourth anniversary on the tenth. He spoiled me with a box of chocolates and a dozen red roses and four white roses mixed in for every year we've been married. He is such a sweetheart. But darn it, I should have taken a picture of them.

School

I have been doing pretty well so far in school for any of you wondering. For the summer, I had two classes and passed both with an A so I finished the summer term with a 4.0! Now I am well into the fall term and so far I have been doing pretty well. History is killing me though. I have a C in that class as of now. I'm hoping to bring it up!

The big kids are doing incredible in school. Little miss Maislyn has straight A's and Jordan has all A's and three B's. They are a couple of smarty pants. Jordan doesn't enjoy reading too much but he is a whiz at math! Maislyn is superb at everything and is a complete bookworm. She is reading at a 7th grade level and tripled her AR goal for the first term.

I know, I know!

So, I know I have been terrible about posting! I started school this past summer and so between school, family, and a house to clean, I haven't had much time for myself. But hopefully, I will get better at this and get some posts going for you guys!

Rain, rain, go away!

Man, I am so ready for warm weather! I just really wish that it would stay 70 degrees all year long! I am not a cold weather person at all!

So, I got my hair cut and this is the first time I have had bangs in 17 years! Crazy I know! I can't decide which I like better. Bangs or no bangs?

Well, I know I have been horrible at posting huh! This week I have no excuse but last week I spent as much time as I could helping my mom move out and get settled into her new house! There was lots of painting and cleaning to do. No one wants to live in someone else's filth. And let me tell you, it was gross with a capital G! Some people just aren't clean I guess. I love cleaning but I guess my downfall is that I hate cooking so I guess everyone has their faults right!

I can't wait!

So it is getting closer and closer to a very big secret! I can't say much about it because it is going to be a surprise for someone but boy will it be fun! It will start on the 25th! Enough about that before I blow it!

I have to take Jordan to the dentist tomorrow and I have no sitter for the girls so it should be mighty fun! Especially since Gentrey is still a little sick. She had a cough but she is almost better. Thank goodness because she has a very poor gag reflex so if she gets coughing hard, up comes whatever she has consumed! Not fun at all! I hate when that poor girl is sick and I'm sure she does as well! Her and I have not got much sleep the last three nights. Hopefully tonight will be a little better!

I'm bad!

So I know I have been bad about posting! I wish I could say that I have been way too busy but sadly, that is not an excuse I can use! I have been somewhat busy with being a mom and all. But I have been using all my free time playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 online! I have to say that no matter how you play this game, whether you play the campaign or multiplayer or online, this is the BEST game ever! And this is coming from someone who hates games like that because I am terrible at them! But my little brothers and husband made me try it and alas, I'm hooked! The best part is that I can play online with my little brothers and talk to them via my microphone or bluetooth headset! It is great fun!

If I didn't already have a PS3 I would have went out and bought one just to own this game! And I am seriously thinking that when the game goes to the bestseller list and is only $19.99, I am going to buy another copy of it just in case my first copy is ever destroyed (or worn out because it gets played so much). Maybe I will buy two more copies! Great game. Play it everyone! And if you would like to play me online in any online PS3 game, feel free to invite me! My user name is chococat20. Shocker I know!
